Don’t let dusty roads and rhythmic pile driving take you by surprise the next time you visit College Park. Cranes tower over bustling construction sites of new academic buildings, apartment complexes, research facilities and other amenities set to transform the campus and surrounding area. It’s all part of the plan by UMD and the city, the state, Prince George’s County and private developers for “Greater College Park.” Take a look through some of the projects currently under construction:
