Green Tidings Mobile Dining Is Back. Here’s Everything You Need to Know About It

The Green Tidings Mobile Dining food truck, celebrating its fifth spring semester of business, serves locally sourced dishes inspired by worldwide cuisine.

Springtime in College Park means cherry blossoms, drastic temperature swings (can we put away our puffy jackets yet?) and maybe best of all, the return of the Green Tidings Mobile Dining food truck.

After a long winter in hibernation, the popular restaurant on wheels emerged last week to serve fresh, locally sourced dishes, inspired by cuisine around the world.

Every day, the truck parks at a different campus location where there isn’t typically quick access to food. You can find its daily site yourself here. Or just be on the lookout for the neon green vehicle and crowd lined up in front of it.

In celebration of Green Tidings’ fifth spring semester of business, we asked Jason Gurganus, Dining Services’ catering director, for details on what drives the success of this mobile dining oasis:
