The UMD men’s and women’s basketball teams have dominated their opponents during their second season in the Big Ten. With Selection Sunday just around the corner, take a look back at some highlights from this winter:
The Maryland men’s team started Big Ten conference play on Dec. 30 ranked No. 4, beating Penn State 70–64. Diamond Stone racked up 39 points, the most ever by a Maryland freshman, and had 12 rebounds. Photo by Greg Fiume
