Graduation Celebrations Start Today; We Share the Stats Behind It

Individual college and school commencement ceremonies begin today, with the main ceremony taking place Friday at the Xfinity Center.

The newest members of the Terp alumni family will be celebrated starting today, as individual college and school ceremonies for Spring 2019 Commencement kick off across campus.

The main ceremony takes place at 1 p.m. Friday in the Xfinity Center, and will feature entrepreneur and former three-term New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg as speaker.

So what does it mean to put on one of the biggest annual events in College Park? We break it down by the numbers.
