Second Chance at a Terp Tradition

Class of 2025 Finally Gets to Fill In a Weather-Delayed M

Nearly 1,500 graduating Terps gathered Tuesday afternoon at SECU Stadium to create the iconic Maryland “M” photo—a tradition the Class of 2025 was unable to take part in as freshmen during the 2021 Fall Welcome festivities because of thunderstorms. After the photo, a collaboration between the University of Maryland Alumni Association, the Division of Student Affairs and the Department of Athletics, the students celebrated at the annual Grad Bash with drinks, food and dancing (featuring special guest Testudo) at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center.
