How Maryland Engineers Have Taken On COVID-19

Projects Range From Rapid Production of Protective Gear to Analysis of Data on Social Distancing

In response to the novel coronavirus pandemic, researchers at the University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering are working to develop solutions that minimize the spread of the disease. They’re pooling resources, both within the school and beyond campus boundaries, to provide critical aid to health care workers and patients facing equipment shortages, to monitor the impact of social distancing and travel restrictions and more.
