Harris Makes Campaign Stop in College Park

Rally Held to Mark Second Anniversary of Supreme Court Ruling on Reproductive Rights

Vice President Kamala Harris led a rally for reproductive freedom at UMD’s Ritchie Coliseum on Monday morning, the second anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson, which struck down the right to an abortion. Other speakers at the invitation-only event included U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, Prince George’s County Executive and U.S. Senate candidate Angela Alsobrooks and U.S. Rep. Glenn Ivey of Maryland.
