It’s the best (if convoluted) kind of math problem: You have six hours Saturday to hit as many of the 392 events at Maryland Day as possible. How do you divide your time?
The massive open house, which typically draws 75,000 visitors to campus, is back for the 21st year. Interactive events, displays and activities spanning five “learning neighborhoods” will showcase the university’s academics, research, arts, athletics and Do Good spirit—all thanks to hundreds of student, staff and faculty volunteers.
It’s fun. It’s family-friendly. It’s full of free swag. And you don’t need a calculator to figure it all out. Just visit marylandday.umd.edu, click on the “Plan Your Day” tool and find your favorite events’ locations on the interactive map.
