Terps fans can be a part of ESPN's "College GameDay" when the University of Maryland hosts the show on Saturday. Doors to the Xfinity Center will open at 9:30 a.m.

ESPN “College GameDay” will return to College Park for the first time in 15 years this Saturday, when the traveling live pregame basketball show airs from 11 a.m.–noon on ESPN, Maryland Athletics announced on Saturday.

The Xfinity Center doors will open at 9:30 a.m. for the event, which will be hosted by Rece Davis with analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and LaPhonso Ellis. Admission is free.

“We are thrilled to have been selected to host ESPN 'College GameDay,'” said Head Coach Mark Turgeon. “It will be an incredible day for our program, fans and community. We can’t wait to show Rece, Jay, Seth, LaPhonso and the rest of the crew what College Park is all about!”

Maryland last hosted ESPN “College GameDay” during the program’s first season in 2005, when the Terrapins defeated Duke 99-92 on Feb. 12.

No. 7 Maryland hosts Michigan State for an 8 p.m. tip at the Xfinity Center later that night on ESPN. The game is sold out. This will be Maryland’s fourth time as a part of “College GameDay,” following an appearance at Michigan State in 2016 and prior to a thrilling 67-60 victory over Michigan State this season, when the Spartans hosted on Feb. 15.

Parking is free in select lots surrounding the facility. Maryland’s clear bag policy will be enforced.
