Maryland Football, ‘Unlocked’

New Docuseries Gives Fans Behind-the-Scenes Look at Team Leading Up to Spring Game

Lessons from the practice field and scenes from the sideline. Candid locker-room conversations after disappointing losses. Reflection and insight from Head Coach Michael Locksley.

That’s what fans can get a glimpse of in “Unlocked: A Maryland Football Documentary Series,” a new eight-episode miniseries that provides a behind-the-scenes look at UMD’s football program throughout Locksley’s debut season in 2019. The second episode premiered online today, and Maryland Athletics will release additional videos every other Wednesday leading up to the Terps’ spring game.

The series’ first episode, “The Doubt,” delves into issues that contributed to a disappointing 3–9 finish and what Locksley and the Terps can do to improve in 2020. The second video, “The Toughness,” explores Locksley’s upbringing in Southwest Washington and how it’s impacted his coaching philosophies.

Check out the series’ latest installment above, and watch all episodes as they’re released here.
