Put on your jauntiest Maryland tie, your tackiest Terp socks, your wackiest face paint and wig.
Tomorrow is College Colors Day, a holiday inviting people around the nation to wear their college’s color in a huge one-day show of unity and support (with a whiff of intercollege competition baked in).
The day is always scheduled for the Friday before Labor Day, just in time for the kickoff of football season.
It couldn’t be easier to participate: 1. Don your favorite Terp gear. 2. Take a pic of yourself or with other fans or family members (including pets!). 3. Share it at #CollegeColorsDay or #UnleashYourColors.
This year’s theme is “Unleash Your Colors,” so let that turtle roar. Get inspired by these examples of Terps wearing their pride.
