The line stretched around the corner and up Knox Road for Friday’s opening of Greater College Park’s latest culinary addition, Cava. The first 150 people there got a free meal from the fast-casual—and fast-growing—Mediterranean restaurant chain helmed by CEO Brett Schulman ’95.
Located in the College Park Shopping Center, the Bethesda, Md.-based Cava is known for its healthy, customizable bowls featuring fresh greens, hummus, pita bread and other Middle Eastern-style fare.
