Computing Overhaul to ‘Elevate’ UMD’s Administrative Operations

University to Transition to Cloud-Based Enterprise System

Ann G. Wylie, interim senior vice president and provost, sent the following message to the campus community yesterday afternoon:

The Elevate program will transition our antiquated systems to a modern cloud-based solution for our human resource/payroll (human capital management), finance and student information systems. Workday has been selected for the new cloud-based enterprise system. This integrated system will streamline and transform the way the university does business.

This transformational effort will modernize the Enterprise Resource Planning systems at the University of Maryland, College Park and for our partners at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science and the University System of Maryland Office.

We invite you to stay connected with us via the Elevate website.

Regards,

Ann G. Wylie
