Tickets Available for Terps’ Appearance in Duke’s Mayo Bowl

By Maryland Athletics Staff

Faculty and staff tickets are available for the Terps’ bowl game faceoff against former ACC rival North Carolina State on Dec. 30 in Charlotte, N.C. Maryland students can also purchase tickets at a discounted price of $35 by signing into their accounts.

For the first time since 2013 and 2014, Maryland football is heading to back-to-back bowl games after earning an invitation to the Duke’s Mayo Bowl, which will be played at Bank of America Stadium, home of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. The Terps notched their best regular season since 2014, finishing 7-5. Their four Big Ten wins are the team’s highest total in eight years.

Maryland and North Carolina State are even in their 70 meetings, standing at 33-33-4. The Terps and Wolfpack met annually when Maryland was in the ACC, with the Terps winning the last game in Raleigh in 2013—the team’ final conference game as a member of the ACC. This will be the first postseason meeting between the two programs.
