The Maryland-Michigan women’s basketball matchup scheduled for Sunday has been postponed due to an activity pause within the Wolverines’ athletic department.
Under a Michigan Department of Health and Human Services decision made Jan. 23, the Michigan Athletic Department immediately paused athletic activities in all sports until further notice and up to 14 days.
Both institutions will work with the Big Ten Conference office to identify potential rescheduling options this season.
No. 7 Maryland (12-2, 8-1 Big Ten), will host Wisconsin (4-11, 1-11) Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Xfinity Center. The Terps-Badgers matchup will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
