The UMD Presidential Transition Team will postpone its work, including planned listening sessions, due to the coronavirus pandemic, said Darryll J. Pines, dean and Farvardin Professor at the A. James Clark School of Engineering, who will lead the university starting July 1.
Comments, suggestions and ideas are still welcome and can be posted on the “Voices of Maryland” website.
“When we next gather in person as a Terrapin community, much will have changed,” Pines said in a campuswide email today. “Hearing your valued perspectives will help us prepare for the next chapter.”
