University Human Resources will hold its annual health benefits open enrollment fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Stamp Student Union’s Colony Ballroom.
Insurers and other resources represented there will include CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, United HealthCare, Kaiser Permanente, Delta Dental DHMO, United Concordia, DPPO, CVS-Caremark, Metropolitan Life Insurance, P&A Group (flexible spending), UNUM, TIAA, Fidelity, MSRP/Nationwide, Maryland 529, LinkedIn Learning and more.
Employees can get free blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose screenings. Flu shots and measles vaccinations are also available to employees in the state-sponsored CareFirst and United HealthCare, by showing their university and insurance IDs.
Zumba and stretching demonstrations will be held at 10 and 11 a.m., respectively, in the Edgar Allen Poe Room, and the Department of Budget and Management will sponsor a scavenger hunt.
Employees who donate a nonperishable food item to the Campus Pantry will be eligible for a prize.
