President Darryll J. Pines volunteered alongside Sasha Marquez, student co-chair of TerpsVote, and thanked campus and community volunteers and Prince George’s County election judges at the Xfinity Center, one of 11 locations in Prince George’s County for early voting. The arena is typically the home of the men's and women's basketball, gymnastics, wrestling and volleyball programs; student-athletes took the lead in turning it into a polling site for the first time. Voters registered in Prince George's County can cast their ballots at the Xfinity Center from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. through Monday, and it will also serve as an Election Day voting center for the same hours on Tuesday.
