Psychology Professor Arie Kruglanski Explains the Importance of Truth to Maintaining Society

While academics and intellectuals have always debated the nature of truth, confusion over basic facts has now become a “pervasive feature of everyday life for everyday people,” according to UMD psychology Professor Arie Kruglanski.
In an essay published yesterday at The Conversation, Kruglanski describes how the fabric of our shared reality is coming apart and what needs to happen to stitch it back together.
