Hundreds of students and faculty marched from McKeldin Library to the Main Administration Building yesterday in a rally to demand justice for late Terps offensive lineman Jordan McNair and support student-athletes. At the event organized by the Student Government Association, President Jonathan Allen called high student turnout at tomorrow’s home football game against Michigan State “the most important step” to justice and handed out tickets, while several professors spoke to emphasize the importance of student-athletes’ well-being. A group of demonstrators confronted the crowd to instead demand a boycott of the game.
