The University of Maryland Police Department and Maryland Athletics are partnering for the annual Toys for Tots drive, with donations going directly to families in Prince George’s County.
Fans attending Sunday’s men’s basketball game against Northwestern at noon, and the Dec. 8 women’s basketball game versus Purdue at 7 p.m., can donate new, unwrapped children’s toys.
Anyone unable to attend the games can still donate by dropping off a new, unwrapped children’s toy at the Pocomoke Building (7569 Baltimore Ave., between Target and Fraternity Row) until Dec. 12.
For more information or to arrange a campus donation pickup, contact Sgt. Rosanne Hoaas at rhoaas@umpd.umd.edu.
