UMD Virtual Town Hall Today

By Maryland Today Staff

University President Wallace D. Loh and other UMD leaders will host a virtual town hall for the university community at 3 p.m. today.

This is an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to share their thoughts and ask questions about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as well as planning efforts for a safe and gradual transition of campus operations.

Officials will also share resources and tips on how to enhance our well-being during these challenging times.

“We may not have answers to every question, but it is important to remain connected as best as we can in this time of physical distancing,” Loh said in an email to the campus community last week.

Questions can be submitted during the town hall or emailed in advance to president@umd.edu.

To join this virtual town hall, attendees must have a valid, licensed UMD Zoom account. To join the program, register in advance at https://go.umd.edu/ivd.
