A new list of the four-year colleges and universities that best support the needs of veterans ranked UMD No. 5 in the nation.
The 2018 ranking by College Factual is based on criteria that include affordability, veteran population served, quality of education, policies, resources and other measurements.
UMD’s Veteran Student Life program supports more than 1,000 veteran students for a seamless transition to civilian college life and for continued growth in mind, body and spirit. Its mission is to build and maintain a community of UMD students, staff, faculty, and alumni who have served in the U.S. military.
