The University of Maryland has been nominated for a 2023 Unique Venues Planner’s Choice Award in the category Locally Sourced Catering.
The awards recognize campuses, conference and business centers, sports arenas, historical and cultural venues, camps and retreat centers, and other special event venues that are deemed best for weddings, performances, filming, expos, trade shows and more.
Voting in 16 categories is open at go.umd.edu/Vote2023 through Aug. 11.
UMD’s Conferences and Visitor Services has won 14 Planner’s Choice Awards in the past, most recently the 2022 award for Best Venue for Youth Retreats and Camps.
