The University of Maryland has been nominated in Unique Venues’ 2024 "Planner’s Choice” awards competition in the category of youth retreats and camps.
The awards recognize campuses, conference and business centers, sports arenas, historical and cultural venues, camps and retreat centers, and other special event venues that made a lasting impression on guests
Potential voters are encouraged to visit and cast their votes online through July 19.
UMD’s Conferences & Visitor Services department has received 15 "Planner’s Choice" Awards in the past nine years. Most recently, UMD was named runner-up as 2023’s Best Venue for Locally Sourced Catering.
