UMD Libraries Opens Survey on Resources, Spaces and Services

The University of Maryland Libraries is launching a campus survey to better understand how students, faculty and staff experience library resources, services and spaces.

UMD is partnering with Measuring Information Services Outcomes, a nationally recognized assessment program used by academic libraries, to gather feedback on research support, teaching and learning, study environments, collections and overall satisfaction. Insights from the survey will help inform strategic priorities and ongoing improvements that support teaching, learning and research across the university.

A randomly selected sample of students, faculty and staff will receive an email invitation this week with a unique survey link. Survey responses are confidential, and results will be reported in aggregate. The survey will remain open through March 4.

If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Dean of Libraries Holly Mercer at hollymercer@umdlibraries.umd.edu.
