The University of Maryland seeks the campus community’s input as it develops a new data privacy policy to establish clear principles and expectations related to the appropriate use of members’ data.
The IT Council of the University Senate is hosting a series of virtual information and listening sessions to encourage student, faculty and staff feedback and to answer questions before finalizing the policy.
The next UMD Zoom meetings will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 28 and 11 a.m. Sept. 29; click on the date to join.
This is a valuable opportunity for Terps to make their voices heard and to influence the privacy governance process at UMD.
