Terp Young Scholars, a UMD program that invites academically talented high school students to experience campus life and earn college credit, was named to TeenLife’s Top 100 Most Popular Summer Programs list for 2020.
The list, organized by categories such as academic, business/entrepreneurship, community service and STEM, derived its top 100 from more than 6,000 total listings.
Terp Young Scholars, falling under TeenLife’s academic category, hosts rising high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors from across the United States and around the world. From July 12–31, participants will pursue an academic interest, engage with faculty and enjoy UMD’s facilities, earning up to three university credits.
