Survey Seeks Staff’s Views on Well-Being, Tech, Fall Plans

By Maryland Today Staff

Senior Vice President and Provost Mary Ann Rankin and Vice President for Administration and Finance Carlo Colella sent the following email to staff members today:

We hope you are safe and well. We want to hear about your experience working through the pandemic. This survey will take about 14 minutes to complete. We acknowledge that you may have received surveys from your own college, professional affiliations or other entities, and may be experiencing some “survey fatigue.” But we ask that you take some time to answer these questions as this will help our senior administrators to plan for the upcoming semester and beyond. This survey contains four sections regarding your:

  1. Overall well-being
  2. Access to basic technology
  3. Plans for Fall 2020
  4. Demographic information

We will take your feedback very seriously. Your responses will help us establish campus-wide priorities to better support your work moving forward.

Your participation in the survey is completely voluntary and is deeply appreciated. Your responses will be confidential and anonymous unless you choose to disclose your name within the survey. There are no known risks associated with your participation. The survey will only be available through July 31.

Please respond to this survey. By clicking here and participating in the survey, you are providing your consent.

Thank you very much for your time and input! We hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Mary Ann Rankin, Senior Vice President and Provost
Carlo Colella, Vice President for Administration and Finance
