The Do Good Challenge application is now open to Terps who are advocating, fundraising, volunteering and/or developing solutions for pressing social issues.
The 2021 event will be held as a series of virtual events throughout “Do Good Month” in April, when six finalist teams will showcase their social impact projects and ventures for a chance to win a share of more than $20,000.
All Terps and supporters will be invited to watch video pitches, explore virtual Q&As and get insider looks at student teams’ work, all culminating in the Do Good Challenge Awards Premiere, where viewers can tune in, vote for their favorite teams, and enjoy a night of fun and celebration to see which teams take home the top prizes.
Current students and recent alums must apply by 11:59 p.m. Jan. 8 for a chance to make it to the Challenge's virtual stage. The Do Good Institute is hosting virtual Q&A sessions about what makes a great application at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 and 2 p.m. Jan. 5. Sign up to join one of these sessions.
