Students, Faculty, Staff Invited to Take Survey on Libraries’ Service Quality

By University Libraries Staff

The University of Maryland Libraries invites students, faculty and staff to participate in a brief, anonymized online survey about their experiences with UMD Libraries.

The survey, open through April 9, is administered through the Association of Research Libraries’ LibQUAL+ program, an industry standard for research libraries, and measures various aspects of service quality, including physical spaces and online access to resources.

It is part of the Libraries’ commitment to continuously improve services, programs and resources to meet the needs of the university community. Results will allow the Libraries to analyze potential deficits, effectively allocate resources, tailor its programs and services to better meet users’ needs, and identify best practices through benchmarking against peer institutions.

Maryland Today is produced by the Office of Marketing and Communications for the University of Maryland community on weekdays during the academic year, except for university holidays.
