Stamp Student Union Reopens

By Maryland Today Staff

The Stamp Student Union has reopened, featuring a renovated and expanded University Book Center. Grab a Starbucks coffee, lunch to go or a scoop at the Maryland Dairy.

Hours for current food, shops and retail that have opened their doors Monday through Friday are:

  • University Book Center: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Chick-fil-A: 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Coffee Bar: 8 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • Maryland Dairy: 11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
  • Union Shop: 8 a.m.–3 p.m.

All Stamp food, shops and retail spaces are following safety guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, state, county and university. All visitors are required to wear a face covering. Look for 4 Maryland signs throughout the building with safety protocols, sanitizing stations and more.

General access to the building is the main front entrance, facing Campus Drive. All other doors require campus University ID card swipes for entry, or are locked.

The Stamp will plan virtual, in person and hybrid programs throughout the fall semester. Visit stamp.umd.edu/reopen, where information on events, activities, building hours and FAQs will be continually updated.
