Singer-Songwriter Samia to Perform at SEE’s Fall Welcome Concert

Student Entertainment Events (SEE) will host Samia as the headliner of its fall welcome concert, Moonlit Music, at 9 p.m. Aug. 29 in Nyumburu Amphitheater. 

The event is free and tickets are not required, but a UMD ID is. Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the Stamp Student Union’s Colony Ballroom. 

The Los Angeles-based singer released her first single, “Someone Tell The Boys,” in 2017, her first EP “Lasting Friends/Paris,” in 2019 and her debut studio album in 2020. “Honey” and “Bloodless” followed, and Samia has appeared on NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concerts.”
