SEE to Welcome TikTok Star Chris Olsen

Student Entertainment Events (SEE) will host a discussion with TikTok celebrity and comedian Chris Olsen at 8 p.m. March 30 in the Stamp Student Union’s Colony Ballroom.

Olsen, who has nearly 10 million TikTok followers, has been named one of E!’s “New Faces of Pride” and was nominated as TikTok and GLAAD’s first “Queer Advocate of the Year.” He also won “People’s Sexiest Guy on TikTok” and was a co-host of the 2022 Oscars’ Red Carpet Experience. Olsen can also be seen in the Discovery+ mini-series “The Book of Queer.”

He is a classically trained actor, singer and dancer who earned his BFA from the Boston Conservatory for Musical Theatre, and he is a proud member of both the Asian Americans and Pacific Islander and LGBTQ+ communities and is an outspoken mental health advocate.

This event, sponsored by ODK, will feature a moderated Q&A as well as an audience Q&A (time permitting). Itis open to the UMD community, and tickets are required. They are free and will become available at umdtickets.com starting at noon Feb. 17.
