Comedian John Mulaney will perform at the UMD annual Homecoming Comedy Show at 8 p.m. Oct. 30, Student Entertainment Events announced on Friday. For the first time, it will be hosted in Xfinity Center in partnership with the Stamp and Maryland Athletics.
Tickets go on sale at 8:30 a.m. today, and start at $15 for members of the university community with a valid University of Maryland ID. The price is $45 for members of the public; those tickets can be purchased here.
Undergraduate students may purchase tickets here, while graduate students, faculty and staff should present a valid UMD ID to the Xfinity Center ticket office in person between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
Mulaney’s tour with Kid Gorgeous was released as a Netflix special in May 2018 and won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Special. Additionally, the former “Saturday Night Live” writer hosted the show in April 2018 and March 2019. Previously, he starred in the Broadway hit “Oh, Hello on Broadway” alongside Nick Kroll and was in the movie “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” which won the Golden Globe for best Animated Feature Film.
