Student Entertainment Events (SEE) will welcome Zack Fox for Moonlit Music, its fall welcome concert, at 9 p.m. Aug. 29 in Nyumburu Amphitheater.
The event is free and tickets are not required, but a UMD ID is. Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the Stamp Student Union’s Colony Ballroom.
Fox is a comedian, rapper, writer and artist who broke through with the viral 2019 freestyle “Jesus Is the One (I Got Depression)” and followed it up with the 2021 album “Shut the F*** Up Talking to Me.” He also plays Tariq on ABC’s Emmy-winning TV series “ Abbott Elementary” and has written for and appeared on “The Eric Andre Show,” “Bust Down” and “Pause” with Sam Jay. On Twitch, he hosted the experimental livestream RELEASED!, a mix of animation, performance art and music journalism.
