Purple Line Construction to Close Campus Drive During Spring Break

From Monday, March 20 through Friday, March 24, work on the Purple Line light-rail project will close the intersection of Regents and Campus drives for repaving. Westbound Campus Drive traffic from Baltimore Avenue will be detoured at Paint Branch Drive, and no through traffic will be allowed on northbound or southbound Regents Drive past Campus Drive. See the traffic detour plan in the map below.

Use caution when traveling around campus and watch for shifting construction activity and detour signs. Contact purpleline@umd.edu with questions about the closure.
