ODK Applications Open Through Sept. 17

Juniors, seniors and graduate students can now apply for membership to the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society.

Since 1927, the UMD chapter of ODK has initiated more than 4,000 students, faculty, staff, alums and honorary members who have demonstrated leadership in scholarship, athletics, the creative and performing arts, journalism and media, and campus or community service. The names of all members are engraved on the ODK Fountain on McKeldin Mall.

Members of UMD’s ODK chapter include U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, former UMD President Wallace Loh, women’s basketball coach Brenda Frese and many others. There are more than 4,000 total members.
