The Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship has added a new track this year to its signature annual competition, welcoming undergraduate and graduate students who have not yet developed a venture.
The winner has the opportunity to win $5,000 at the virtual Pitch Dingman event finals on May 4, along with guaranteed admission to the Dingman Center’s competitive Terp Startup Accelerator summer program, which offers an additional $5,000 stipend.
This Fearless Ideas track empowers students to develop a venture idea that tackles systemic racism in the fields of business, technology, or mental health. Competitors must ask themselves, “What kind of venture could I create that would improve or solve one of these problems?”
Applications are open through 11:59 p.m. EST April 5. The Fearless Ideas Track submission consists of a video pitch and slide deck, including a logo and website, if applicable. For more information, visit the Fearless Ideas Track website.
