Meet the Finalists for AVP of Diversity and Inclusion

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion invites members of the campus community to meet the four finalists for the position of assistant vice president for diversity and inclusion.

Reporting to the vice president for diversity and inclusion, the assistant vice president will provide leadership on strategic equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives across the university, including leading the development and implementation of strategic plans and campus climate surveys. This position will directly supervise the following units: Bias Incident Support Services, Diversity Training & Education, the LGBTQ+ Equity Center, the Nyumburu Cultural Center and the Office of Multi-ethnic Student Education.

Finalists will give a 30-minute presentation, followed by 20 minutes for answering audience questions. An anonymous evaluation form will be shared with attendees at each presentation:

  • Wednesday, April 26, 1-1:50 p.m., 2130/2124 H.J. Patterson Hall
  • Tuesday, May 2, 3-3:50 p.m., 0100A Marie Mount Hall (Maryland Room)
  • Friday, May 12, 3-3:50 p.m., 2130/2124 H.J. Patterson Hall
  • Monday, May 15, 1-1:50 p.m., 2130/2124 H.J. Patterson Hall
