Due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the UMD Office of General Counsel is reminding Terp community members who are facing hardship that they may qualify for pro bono legal assistance.
The office has updated its web page to make finding it easier. That includes details about getting lawyer referral information from each Maryland jurisdiction’s local bar association. Visit the Maryland State Bar Association for more information.
The Maryland Pro Bono Resource Center, the pro bono arm of the association, is another resource, and the Maryland Center for Legal Assistance is also available for phone and online chats.
