The University of Maryland will host a series of open forums for graduate students focused on their central role in the institution’s success.
Senior Vice President and Provost Jennifer King Rice, Associate Provost and Graduate School Dean Steven Roth and the leadership from the schools, colleges and Division of Student Affairs will attend the conversations. Attendees can learn more about campus efforts to support graduate students in their academic success, and help leaders learn about students’ experience and how they can continue to improve graduate education at UMD.
The four open forums are each geared toward specific schools and colleges. However, students are welcome to attend any session that best fits their schedule:
Nov. 2, 1-2 p.m. | Stamp Student Union, Atrium and via Zoom (BSOS/SPHL/INFO)
Nov. 10, 1-2 p.m. | Tawes Hall, Room 1310 (ARHU)
Nov. 28, 3-4 p.m. | Van Munching Hall, Executive Dining Hall, Room 2517 (EDUC/BMGT/ARCH/PLCY/JOUR)
Nov. 29, 4-5 p.m. | A. James Clark Hall, Clark Hall Forum, Room 1101A/B (CMNS/ENGR/AGNR)
