Faculty-Staff Appreciation Day at UMD Book Center

The UMD Book Center will host its annual Faculty-Staff Appreciation Day today, offering substantial one-day discounts, light refreshments and complementary gift wrapping.

From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., employees get a holiday “thank you” from the store in the Stamp with a 30 percent discount on almost everything, and an additional 50 percent off all clearance items.

Faculty and staff who bring a postcard addressed to their UMD mailing address promoting the event will be eligible for a grand-prize $250 shopping spree, or other prizes including Beats by Dre headphones or a UMD nutcracker.
