The city of College Park will host College Park Day from noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 5 at the College Park Aviation Museum and Airport, featuring live music across three stages, a 26-foot rock wall, an inflatable football obstacle course and more.
Families can visit the popular Kids Zone with inflatables, arcade-style games, arts and crafts, and a dedicated family stage with entertainment all day. The main stage will showcase local bands, while a community stage will feature a variety of acts. UMD’s Terp Lions and high-flying Gymkana team will be among the performers. Thrill-seekers, meanwhile, can try their hand at ax-throwing or mechanical bull riding.
UMD students on campus can hop on a free shuttle bus to and from the Regents Drive Garage beginning around 11:45 a.m.; the final bus will leave the festival at 6:25 p.m.
Free parking will be available at the College Park-UMD Metro Station garage.
A full schedule of activities, participating food and alcohol vendors, and performance lineups are available at collegeparkday.org.
