The Center for Leadership and Organizational Change (CLOC) will hold an information session on Sept. 1 on its upcoming one-day hiking excursion for faculty and staff designed to enhance leadership confidence by reinforcing research-based leadership principles through an outdoor-centered experience.
Walk the Walk: A Leadership Experience, which will next be offered in Patapsco Valley State Park on Oct. 9, is framed by activities including an in-person workshop and coaching, led by leadership consultants who are experienced outdoorspeople.
Participants will learn about frameworks and practices that support connecting with the natural world and explore how these connections can be a resource for developing stronger, grounded and authentic leadership. Experiential activities invite reflection on team dynamics and connections between our minds, bodies and emotions in effective leadership. Participants will also have the opportunity to examine how their CliftonStrengths talents apply to their personal and professional goals.
Sign up for the information session from 12:30-1 p.m. Tuesday, and find more details and the application for the program.
