A new road closure will go into effect on the University of Maryland campus to expedite construction of the Purple Line.
Beginning on or about Dec. 20, Campus Drive from Regents Drive (near Symons Hall) to Union Lane (near the Stamp Student Union) will be closed through Jan. 19. See the attached map for the vehicle detour route.
Please remember that with any construction project, plans and timelines are subject to change. To find the most up-to-date road closures and detours, visit UMD’s Purple Line website for impacts on campus and the official Purple Line website for impacts beyond campus.
