The University of Maryland is offering two weeks of free membership access to campus recreational facilities to staff and faculty to thank them for their efforts on behalf of the institution and to support their health and well-being.
From May 25 to June 8, University Recreation & Wellness welcomes employees to:
- Try one of 30-plus group fitness classes offered weekly, including yoga, BodyPump and cycling.
- Explore new heights at the indoor bouldering zone and climbing wall.
- Recharge at the outdoor aquatic center or cool off in the splash pool.
- Use the latest cardio, strength and functional training equipment.
During these two weeks, the Department of Transportation Services is also extending free parking for faculty and staff permit holders in Lot 2.
Faculty and staff can also purchase personal training services at the Eppley Recreation Center (ERC) Member Service Desk. They will receive 15% off from June 1 to Aug. 1 and can meet with a certified personal trainer during the free trial period to kick-start an exercise routine.
Visit the University Recreation & Wellness website for information on facilities and hours.
