17 Projects Awarded ArtsAMP Grants

A new wearable device to help people with hearing disabilities experience music performances, a mural and workshops at a Baltimore urban farm, and an immersive exhibition on institutional surveillance are among the 17 University of Maryland projects to receive Spring 2026 ArtsAMP Grants.

Awarded by the campuswide initiative Arts for All, the grants go to arts-based projects developed by faculty members, graduate and undergraduate students, and student organizations. They support projects that are interdisciplinary, make the arts accessible, and take on a grand challenge.

This round of grantees includes projects that combine entomology and visual art, music and digital archiving, history and performance studies and more. Read the full list on the College of Arts and Humanities’ website
