Two months ago, the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic threw our plans into the shredder. We returned home, retreated to safety, reimagined our curriculums and resumed classes online. 

With yesterday’s end of Spring 2020 classes, it’s time to toot your own horn. Or, let’s allow the Mighty Sound of Maryland to do that. 

Members past and present of the University of Maryland’s marching band, who have been marking time at home too, mark the happy occasion with this new video edited by computer science majors Devan Tamot '21 and Kyle Hurley '21. 

More than 130 musicians, silk-waving color guard members and dancers, led by Associate Director of Bands Andrea E. Brown, came together while socially distanced to perform the Terps’ victory song.
