# Spring Pops With Color

As students blow bubbles on McKeldin Mall, nap in hammocks and even wade in the ODK Fountain, the icy precipitation that fell over the weekend is a distant memory.

The welcome warmth has also created a rainbow of colors across campus, as University of Maryland-red tulips bloom by the sundial, the last of the cherry blossoms hang on by Reckord Armory, and the M creates the perfect graduation photo backdrop, filled with bright yellow pansies. It’s no wonder all of UMD’s 1,300+ acres are considered an arboretum.
